Get back

September 15th, 2009 § 0

Today we start with the Phrasal Verbs. If wheather conditions and authority don’t prevent it we will bring here one every tuesday. The first is “Get Back“. How can we understand it? When can we use it? Like every phrasal verb get-back has differents meanings despite the country. One of the meanings is like come back to your house.

The second meaning I know is like move or go back.

The third, and last meaning I know, is when you to say to somebody not to be weighed (ser pesado), or you just want to be alone, you could say: Get back! (=leave me alone, don’t be weighed…)

Remember: Get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged (The Beatles):

Where Am I?
